If you are slower runner and you are doing the 15k, you will need a headlamp or a flashlight. If you are a walker doing the 8k, you will need a headlamp or flashlight. The last 2 miles will have some glow sticks to help light the way.
This course is entirely in the park on paved paths. We will cross a street three times for the 8k and six times for the 15k.
We will have crossing guards, but you must be aware of the cars. DO NOT ASSUME THAT ANY CAR WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP.
Parking in the park. The road near Pavilion 2 will be available for parking. But if you park there be prepared to stay later. If you want to leave right after the race please park in the upper Bee Street closer to the Starcrest road. We want to keep lower Bee parking for volunteers if possible.

Enchanted Rock Vodka , a smooth grain vodka made in the heart of Texas. Every bottle is handcrafted to capture the essense of this unique landmark's spirit.
Special note.....ladies.....Enchanted Rock will be there to provide you with one Martini after your race. So if you are not a beer drinker, now you get one martini. This is a late entry....so we are working out the details....but yes one martini per women runner. I know that this caused some heartburn with some very aggresive male Vodka drinkers. So we will attempt to remedy the proper dispersement of all alcohol to male and female participants. Wow....don't ask me to say that again. If enough Vodka shows up...guys can have one also.
Sincerely,
Bart Childers
